| Description | Josey is very mellow, is amicable but doesn’t develop easy attachments to strangers. Recently he has been depressed. If he was so hungry that he wandered far enough to look: heard my screams: and decided for the first time in 8 years to not come back— I’d be shocked. If he got along with the other dog so much that he would jump in a stranger’s car— I’d be shocked. He normally never leaves my side and has always waited without a leash wherever he saw me last. I have a feeling this guy stole him. He had long curly black hair, had just recently fallen and injured his hand, and I’d perhaps upset him by suggesting he be careful if he chose to drive— given that he was noticeably inebriated. I had complimented this well-to-do handsome hipster “trimmigrant”-type on his brown leather lace-up kiltie boots at the Shanty only an hour prior to us being at Amiba or whatever it is park— next to the giant sculpture near the Carson Mansion in the parking lot of the eureka recreational center. I was on was talking on the phone with my sister and in 5 minutes the smaller boxy mint green suv (that almost looked like a Honda Element) was gone: and so was my dog. My best friend of 8 years. Monday night, 10 pm. I’ve never had this happen before. I called 911 and have been crying and in a cloud of delusion ever since. If this is the last time I will ever see him I might quite literally die. Any help is appreciated. |
