DescriptionMy husband found a big yellow lab & possible mastiff mix dog… male. While he was exploring the mountains in the Mendocino National Forest on Sat 9/28/24 on a very narrow dirt path/ secluded area on one of the mountain ridges about 17 miles back from any main roads and civilization. No collar, friendly, wasn’t super skinny and malnourished so we dont think the dog had been there too long. He asked around at the campsites near where he found him but no one claimed him. My husband brought him home down here to Vacaville, Ca. He took him to the vet to scan for a chip… the dog is not chipped and they found that only one of his testicles had descended. The dog weighs 98.5lbs and the vet thinks he’s about 2yrs. We put a collar on him (& a cheap flea collar) so we could leash him around our other dogs if necessary… so thats why he has a collar on him in most of the pics. We’d like to return this sweet boy if someone is looking for him. He is a gentle giant. We’ve been searching and watching facebook/ social media but haven't found anything.
