| Description | An adolescent kitten came up onto my porch in the Meadowbrook apartments on Samoa BLVD in Arcata last night around midnight. It was wearing a collar with a bell and a flea collar, had light green eyes, and was extremely friendly, definitely someone's cat. It was very hungry (pretty skinny too) and ate nearly an entire cup of dry food. It LOVED the catnip I gave it.
My partner said she's seen the kitten around the apartment complex for several days now. I can't bring it inside my apartment because my cat is very afraid of and aggressive towards other cats, but I did leave out food, water, and a carrier with catnip and a towel inside. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to snap a picture because it was so dark out. It left my porch last night, but is probably still in the area! |
