| Description | Urgent situation!
My firefighter friend found this dog injured in middle of the 299 at Lord Ellis Summit just now. He appeared to be guarding his chihuahua friend who was hit by car and was dead. My friend Will took him in his car and is en route to animal shelter in McKinleyville to meet sheriff there. Dog has broken front leg- friendly,beagle mix. No clad but his friend had a 2011 rabies tag from myrtle Ave vet with #111141. This has to be someone's lost dog- UPDATE: he's meeting officer in blue lake. He said chihuahua looked emaciated and this beagle had long dew claws so may have been missing for awhile or neglected |
