| Description | Hello! I work at Sunny Brae Animal Clinic and we just had a Good Samaritan (around 2pm) bring in two dogs to scan for a microchip. Unfortunately no microchip was found on either dog and they were not wearing collars. He said he was half way up fickle hill, driving down, and they were running up the road, as he was rounding a corner he almost hit them. So he stopped and they jumped right in the back of his truck. Luckily they appear to be uninjured, just hot and panting and tired. They appear to be well cared for, and very friendly. Someone must be missing them! The black one is a younger female, the brown and tan one is a seemingly older male. The good Samaritans name is George and he gave me permission to post this for him with his phone number. He lives about a half an hour away from Arcata, but will be in Arcata today until about 5 PM. He will bring the dogs back to his house this evening and keep them for a day or two before bringing them to the shelter. His phone number is: (707) 599-7210 |
